Bear-Machines 2025 – our incredible year with a triple success!

At the end of the year, there is every reason to celebrate: unbelievable but true – Bear-Machines has achieved the triple in 2025! 🏅🏅🏅

Renowned industry experts honoured Bear-Machines with the Eco Performance Award and the European Transport Prize for the invention of the Bear-Cut machine. The jury was convinced that the world’s first machine for regrooving bus, lorry and trailer tyres offers enormous advantages for sustainability and, at the same time, for the cost efficiency of fleets. In addition, readers of the trade magazine Truck & Trailer Welt voted Bear-Cut the best innovation of the year.

This triple success is an overwhelming achievement for Bear-Machines and a wonderful recognition of the work of Mark Berendsen and Stephan Berendsen’s team.

Our customers confirm that Bear-Cut pays for itself in no time. Our customer Georg Wittwer is a prime example of this. The owner of the Wittwer haulage company achieved a return on investment in less than a year. The public transport provider VKU – Verkehrsgesellschaft Kreis Unna is expected to need a maximum of two years.

Lower tyre and fuel costs – this is not just a marketing slogan for us, but something that has been tried and tested in practice. The news is spreading quickly among commercial vehicle and bus fleets. Twenty systems are now in use by customers. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the trust placed in us by, among others, the freight forwarders Alfred Schuon Group, Spedition Oppel GmbH, Gress + Zapp GmbH Internationale Spedition and the tyre service providers Reifen-Pott Autoservice GmbH, Gummi Berger and Kurz Karkassenhandel GmbH – to name but a few.

We have also received our first orders from France: Pneus Lelièvre. We are therefore delighted to welcome Vincent Lachenal to the team as our first regional sales manager. Great to have you on board! 🇫🇷

The year was also full of great events where we were able to present ourselves and maintain contact with old and new partners. Josef Warmeling and Markus Köbbe really stepped on the gas at transport logistic. Thank you to Transcoop09 AG for allowing us to accompany our sales partner Stefan A. Eisenhofer I Transporte at your stand. Thank you also to ELVIS AG for allowing us to introduce ourselves at your partner meeting.

Other highlights included the Dekra Future Congress for commercial vehicles, the Handelsblatt annual conference for commercial vehicles, the AZuR network meeting and numerous customer presentations in our hall at the maakwi Campus.

We’re staying on track: we have high expectations and can hardly wait for 2026 to begin. With IAA TRANSPORTATION and THE TIRE COLOGNE, two international industry events are also just around the corner.
